Details & Challenges
A major challenge in this build had to do with our limited understanding of the beauty industry. CGS Computers invested quite a bit of time to learn what lash extensions are, and how they were best presented. In addition, the client already had an online scheduling & payment system set up through Acuity services that needed to be integrated into the new design. In addition, Beauty by Kieu performed most of their work on Instagram.
Results
CGS Computers was able to build a very light & airy design that included an Instagram Feed from Beauty by Kieu’s Instagram account. This allows the website to update in real time with changes happening on Instagram.
We also included a FAQ for those who don’t know what lash extensions are or how to care for them and were able to embed their entire Acuity scheduling system right into the site.
The owner of Beauty by Kieu was very tech savvy and we were able to train her on how to keep her site content updated.
